Initial Design Consultation
-
All of my projects begin with an Initial Design Consultation – the essential first step in transforming your home.
-
During this 60–90 minute meeting, I'll visit you in your home and we'll walk through the space together. We'll discuss the areas you'd like help with, your goals, lifestyle needs, design preferences, budget and any challenges you're currently facing with the space. It's also an opportunity to identify key opportunities and potential constraints, ensuring we're aligned on your vision and priorities.
-
This is very much your time to pick my brains. Most clients use the consultation to focus on two or three key areas of their home where they would like professional advice, fresh ideas or guidance on next steps. Whether you're considering a renovation, planning a room redesign, struggling with layout decisions, or simply don't know where to start, I'll share practical advice, initial ideas and inspiration tailored to your project.
-
Some clients find the consultation alone provides the clarity and confidence they need to move forward independently. For others, it acts as the starting point for a larger design project.
-
The consultation is also an opportunity for us to get to know each other and gain a deeper understanding of your project, helping us determine whether further design support may be beneficial.
Ongoing Design Support
-
My ongoing design services are best suited to homeowners undertaking significant room redesigns, renovations and furnishing projects.
-
Should you decide you would like further support following the consultation, and we both feel we are a good fit to work together, I can recommend the most appropriate level of design support for your project and prepare a tailored proposal outlining the scope of work, design fees and next steps.
* Please note:
• In-person design consultations are available within approximately 40 minutes of TW11. For clients further afield, consultations can be conducted online.
• The Initial Design Consultation is a standalone advice and strategy session. It does not include detailed design work, scaled room layouts, technical drawings, specifications, sourcing or written design proposals.
• Any further design services are discussed separately following the consultation and are subject to project suitability and availability.
